NAJU is the biggest environment organisation for young people in Germany. It offers a framework for children an young adults aged 6 to 27 to protect nature and the environment. The emphasis of NAJUs activities lies on environmental education and practical nature conservation.

Teenagers and young adults in NAJU participate in exiting competitions. Internet based games on rivers and creeks and the ecology of human habitats provide practical exercises to improve their knowledge and skills. In partnership with the Youth Sports Association, NAJU members investigate the impact of various sports on our natural environment.

NAJU also arranges international exchanges. Here teenagers and young adults can gain valuable experience about people, culture and natural habitats in partner countries. NAJU and the network organisation Youth and Environment Europe (YEE), developed an international online-project called www.eurotope.net which now also invites you to vist the new social network: www.eurotope.ning.com !
